Jamie Garcia

Lead UX Researcher at SRC

Jamie Garcia has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience (UX) research and design. They are currently employed at SRC as a Lead UX Researcher since January 2024, and previously worked as a UX Researcher at the same company since March 2022. Prior to that, Jamie worked as an Interactive Designer at Syracuse University from October 2020 to March 2022. They also have experience as a UI/UX Engineer and Digital Experience Specialist at Corning Incorporated from July 2017 to October 2020. Jamie's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Assistant at State University of New York College at Oswego from July 2015 to July 2017, and as a VR Usability Specialist Global Intern at University of Granada from May 2016 to July 2016. Jamie also worked as a Teacher Assistant at State University of New York College at Oswego from August 2014 to December 2014.

Jamie Garcia received a Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction from the State University of New York at Oswego, which was completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Jamie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same university, completing it from 2011 to 2015. Jamie also holds a User Experience Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group, obtained in 2018.
