Kalyan Maity

Kalyan Maity is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the mining and steel industries. Currently serving as Director at Sree Metaliks Ltd. since December 2021, Kalyan previously held several key leadership roles at Steel Authority of India Limited from December 1980 to February 2020, including Executive Director of the Growth & Environment Management Division, where oversight included a foundry and major structural fabrication unit. Kalyan's expertise extends to raw material and logistics management as a Director on the SAIL Board, responsible for the operations and projects of various mineral mines. Kalyan has also held roles as General Manager in mines operations and as a management trainee, contributing to various operational and statutory compliance functions. Kalyan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Raipur and holds a First Class Certificate of Competency in mine operations and safety from the Director General of Mines Safety in Dhanbad.
