Matthew Hansen

Matthew Hansen, PE, LS, has over three decades of experience in civil engineering and land surveying. Currently serving as a Principal at SRF Consulting Group since May 1994, Matthew leads the Civil/Municipal Division, providing expertise to cities and counties in the upper Midwest on a variety of roadway, utility, and infrastructure projects. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an Engineer at Hansen Thorp Pellinen Olson, Inc. from January 1988 to May 1994, where responsibilities included municipal street and utility design, site planning, and surveying tasks. Earlier experience as a Land Surveying Technician at McGhie and Betts during college involved field survey work for residential developments in Rochester, Minnesota. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Engineering from Iowa State University and completed studies at the University of Minnesota. Matthew's foundation in education includes graduating from Spring Valley High School in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
