Briland Hitaj

Briland Hitaj is an accomplished Advanced Computer Scientist II at SRI International, specializing in research and development focused on security and privacy in machine learning since March 2019. Prior roles include Visiting Research Scholar at Stevens Institute of Technology from May 2016 to March 2019, where investigations into Generative Adversarial Networks and federated learning were conducted. Briland also completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Sapienza Università di Roma in 2018, following a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from Epoka University. Initial professional experience includes software development for Epoka University's interactive system and web development during academic pursuits, alongside an internship at LAB13 Srl focused on web development technologies.
