Michael Lomnitz

Principal Computer Scientist, Center For Vision Technology at SRI International

Michael Lomnitz has a diverse work experience in the computer science and data science fields. Michael started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab, where they conducted research in nuclear science and developed a fast Monte Carlo event generator. Michael also studied relevant particle production and kinematic distributions for proposed accelerator complexes.

Later, Michael worked as an A.I. Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they gained experience in artificial intelligence. Following that, they joined In-Q-Tel as a Data Scientist and then as a Senior Data Scientist, where they worked on data analysis and research projects.

Currently, Michael is with SRI International as a Senior Computer Scientist and then promoted to Principal Computer Scientist in the Center for Vision Technology. Further details regarding their roles and responsibilities in this position are not provided.

Michael Lomnitz completed their Bachelor of Science in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2005 to 2010. Michael then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Physics at Kent State University from 2011 to 2016.
