Buddhika Dissanayake is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Superintendent of Customs at Sri Lanka Customs since June 2019. Prior to this role, Buddhika worked as an Immigration Officer for Sri Lanka Immigration and Emigration and as a Project Analyst in the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs. Before transitioning into public service, Buddhika held a position as an Associate Software Engineer at Softknowledge Business Solutions, specializing in full-stack development. Early career experience includes an engineering internship at Dialog Axiata PLC, focusing on access planning and operations. Buddhika holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and a Diploma in Gemmology from the Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka. Educational background also includes G.C.E. Advanced Level in Physical Sciences from Maliyadewa Model School.
