Heshan Tharaka

Heshan Tharaka is an accomplished professional in the fields of software engineering and customs management. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Customs at Sri Lanka Customs since May 2018, Heshan previously worked as a Software Engineer at GT Nexus, where expertise was developed in cloud platforms for global supply chain management. Earlier experience includes an Associate Software Engineer role at Creative Solutions, focusing on the research and development of Android mobile applications, as well as an internship at Wavenet that provided foundational training in software engineering. Heshan holds a BSc (Hons) in Engineering, specializing in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and completed education at Rahula College.
