Sri Chitturi Jagapati Rao is a visionary and one of the pioneers who established the poultry industry in India. His dynamism and able stewardship have resulted in a steady increase in the group’s turnover and profitability consistently since 1965. Born and raised in a farmers’ family in the village Kulla of East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh, his farsightedness on the evolution of the poultry Industry bears testimony to the fact that he has envisioned a great future for India many decades ago.
Sri Jagapati Rao is on the board of the company as Chairman of Srinivasa Farms. He was instrumental in setting up the National Egg Co-ordination Committee (NECC) and served the committee in various capacities. He was associated with multiple poultry groups as a mentor and was consulted for his rich experience as a pioneer in the Industry. Sri Jagapati Rao is also a member of the International Egg Commission (IEC) based in the UK.
