Kate Steyn is a Principal Environmental Consultant and Associate Partner with over 17 years of experience leading diverse environmental consulting projects. Currently a senior member of the SRK Cape Town Environmental Department, Kate specializes in large-scale Environmental Impact Assessments within the mining and renewable energy sectors, while also focusing on biodiversity management and rehabilitation. Previously, Kate ran a landscaping company, served as the Manager of the Kirstenbosch Branch of the Botanical Society of SA, and worked as an Environmental Consultant with various firms. Kate holds an MSc cum laude in Botany and is a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner.
