Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has worked on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels. Previous roles include firmware engineer at the same company, and electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on electronics design for educational devices. Additionally, experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary involved supporting student labs and assessments. Chris's early career included work as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
