Samantha Barnes

Samantha Barnes is a Senior Consultant and Water Resources Engineer at SRK Consulting, where employment began in April 2012. Through a secondment with SRK's UK office in Cardiff, Samantha participated in operational support projects across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, enhancing a professional network and gaining field experience in locations such as Guinea and Northern Ireland. Responsibilities at SRK include working within the surface water team on various mine-water related projects, including hydraulic structure design and climate change prediction. Samantha holds a Master's of Engineering in Hydrotechnical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, completed in December 2020, and a Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, along with Environmental Science, from Western University, earned in 2012.
