John Richardson

John Richardson has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. John is currently working as the Director of Information Systems at Santa Rosa County Sheriff since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Security Analyst at Okaloosa County from March 2022 to September 2023. John also served as a System Administrator at NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center from February 2021 to March 2022. Before that, John worked as a Senior System Administrator at Alion Science and Technology from December 2020 to January 2021. John has extensive experience in the field, having worked at Oracle as a Principal Support Engineer, Engineered Systems from August 2015 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Progressive Insurance as an Enterprise Services Technician from August 2014 to August 2015. John also has experience as an Online Technical Support Expert at JustAnswer from October 2013 to August 2014. John began their career in the United States Air Force, where they served in various IT and supervisory roles from July 2008 to July 2013. This includes positions such as First Sergeant and Superintendent, Air Force Element. John also served as Superintendent, Imagery Systems at US Air Force - Joint Analysis Center from July 2005 to June 2006. Overall, John has a strong background in IT and has held leadership roles in both the military and civilian sectors.

John Richardson began their education at Milton High School from 1983 to 1987. John then attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1998 to 2003, where they received an AS degree in Information Technology. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Human Resource Management at the same institution. Afterward, they attended Shipley Communication in 2012 to become a certified facilitator of Four Lenses. Finally, from 2010 to 2015, John earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
