(Joel) Litao Jiao (焦利涛)

Litao Jiao is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer currently at SS8 Networks, specializing in Communication Forensics systems utilizing Java technologies in a RedHat Linux environment. As the Founder of Good2.com, Jiao developed a multilingual social website using a LAMP stack and CMS. Previously, Jiao served as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at XO Communications Inc, where notable contributions included creating a highly scalable virtual Windows web hosting platform. Jiao's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in founding TuBaWang.com and AiDiot.com, which focused on AI social networking. Earlier in the career, Jiao held roles at Concentric Network Corp, where work included a Java chat client for David Bowie's website, and as an Assistant Research Scientist for NASA at the Institute for Astronomy, University of Hawaii. Jiao holds advanced degrees in Astrophysics and Computer Science from the Chinese Academy of Science and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
