Briana Van Over has extensive work experience in various roles within the hospitality industry. Briana currently holds the position of Director of Catering Sales at SSA Group since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Guest Services Manager at the Blend by Ste Michelle from June 2021 to March 2022. From August 2018 to June 2021, Briana worked as an Event Sales Manager at SPIN. Additionally, they have experience as a Catering Operations Manager at Lancer Hospitality from May to August 2018. Earlier in their career, Briana held positions at Wild Ginger / The Triple Door, where they served as Director of Private Events and Catering Sales from October 2016 to October 2017, and as an Event Sales Manager from May 2013 to October 2016. Briana also worked as a Lead Server at Wild Ginger from May 2010 to October 2013. Prior to their roles in the hospitality industry, Briana gained experience as a Server/Manager at Campbell's Veranda Bistro and Bar from January 2000 to January 2009. During their time at Campbell's, they were involved in rebranding the restaurant's menu, culture, and identity and took on responsibilities as a server, bartender, manager, and lead trainer.

Briana Van Over pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Puget Sound from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they completed the Business Leadership Program and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.
