Cathy Dorman Walker

Cathy Dorman Walker is an accomplished Human Resources Manager with extensive experience in payroll administration and HR functions. Currently employed at SSAB since July 2019, Cathy previously held the same role at Mobile Lumber & Millwork from December 2016 to July 2019, where responsibilities included managing payroll, benefits, and tax reporting for over 250 employees. Prior roles included customer service and sales at Chevrolet and office management/bookkeeping at Dees Unlimited, LLC, where financial reporting and business finances were primary focuses. Cathy's career began at First Community Bank - Alabama, where a tenure from July 1992 to October 2015 led to the position of Assistant Vice-President/Human Resources Generalist, managing HR policies, payroll for over 100 employees, and employee development. Cathy holds a degree in Business Administration from James H Faulkner State Community College and an advanced diploma from Washington County High School.
