Hanna Loponen

Hanna Loponen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Market Operations and Senior Treasury Development Manager at SSAB since October 2023, leading a team of four Treasury professionals in Front and Middle office activities. Prior to this role, Hanna held various positions at Metso from January 2014 to September 2023, including Development Manager and Manager Treasury Operations, where responsibilities encompassed Treasury project management, cash management development, and financial risk consulting. Additionally, experiences include roles at Cargotec Corporation as a Dealer, where foreign exchange exposure and liquidity management were key focuses, and at Dynea AS, where responsibilities involved treasury accounting and reporting. Earlier career foundations include a role as a Settlement Accountant at the Bank of Finland, supported by a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from the University of Jyväskylä.
