Matti Santala

Matti Santala has over two decades of extensive experience in human resources and business development, currently serving as HR Director Finland and Divisional HR at SSAB since October 2018, overseeing HR operations across Finland and 30 other European countries. Previous roles include HR Director FI and joint Head of HR in Division Europe, where responsibility included managing a team of HR professionals and payroll services. Matti's background features varied HR leadership roles in companies such as Viafin, Caverion, Fenestra Oy, Elisa, and Turun työvoimatoimisto. Matti holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from Centria University of Applied Sciences and an executive MBA in International Business Management from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
