Teemu Toivanen

Teemu Toivanen is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management and quality engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager at SSAB since September 2014, where responsibilities include product costing. Previously held roles at SSAB include Controller and Quality Engineer, focusing on quality systems and claims. Before joining SSAB, Teemu worked at Ruukki from February 2002 to September 2014, contributing as a Quality Engineer in Tube Works and as a Development Engineer in process development, in addition to serving as a Product Development Engineer for galvanized products. Teemu's early career included a position as Project Engineer at Hame Polytechnic, specializing in the Sheet Metal Development Centre. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Physical Metallurgy, Materials Science, and Industrial Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and experience as an exchange student in Materials Science at Montanuniversität Leoben.
