John Kozak

John Kozak currently serves as the Senior Vice President at SMG Corporate Services. John has over 30 years of experience in the security industry, with a focus on business development.

John started their career in 1987 at DuBose Associates, Inc. Architects. John then transitioned to Vance International in 2004, where they served as the Executive Director. John was responsible for the development of new business selling contract security services in the Northeast. John managed the company’s sales pipeline and work in conjunction with six branch offices in the sale and service of new and existing business. John was successful in introducing Vance to the marketplace, directing the company from 0 man-hours serviced to over 10,000. John successfully guided the firm locally through two acquisitions without any loss of business. John also acquired numerous prestigious clients, exceeding $15m in revenue.

In 2010, John left Vance International to join SSC, Inc., which was later acquired by SMG Corporate Services. John currently serves as the Senior Vice President at SMG Corporate Services, where they are responsible for leading and managing the growth of the organization through mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth initiatives.

John Kozak has a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Western New England University.
