Dave Thompson

Dave Thompson is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Energy Systems Development Manager at SSE Energy Solutions since July 2023. Previously, Dave held the position of Project Development Manager and contributed as a Senior Renewables Engineer at Rolton Group from July 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included creating energy models and drafting engaging reports for complex technical processes. Prior experience includes a summer internship as a Renewable Energy Engineer at Pryor Marking Technology, where practical skills were developed, and a Year in Industry placement at Scottish Power Energy Networks Holdings Ltd., which enhanced understanding of power distribution systems.
