Iain Pybus

Iain Pybus has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Iain most recently served as the Head of Project Development at SSE Enterprise starting from the year 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at SSE plc from 2017 to 2019, and as a Project Development Manager at the same company from 2010 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they served as a Project Manager at Saint-Gobain Isover from 2005 to 2009, and as a Change Manager at BPB Placo from 2003 to 2005. Before that, they worked as a Senior Technical Service Manager at the Electrochemical Technology Business, INEOS Chlor from 2001 to 2003. From 1996 to 2001, they held the position of Maintenance, Development & Project Manager at INEOS Chlor (formerly ICI), and from 1992 to 1996, they worked as a Project Engineer at SIEMENS, CITROEN, and INASMET.

Iain Pybus has a strong education background, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Materials Science from the University of Bath, which they completed in the period from 1988 to 1992. Following this, Iain pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Design from Cranfield University, with a duration from 1995 to 1996. To enhance their skills and knowledge in business management, they enrolled at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2007.
