Mahendra Manukonda

Mahendra Manukonda is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in high voltage (HV) and distributed energy resource design. Currently serving as an ICP Senior Engineer at SSE Energy Solutions since June 2022, Mahendra's previous tenure at WSP in the UK from November 2013 to June 2022 involved various roles, including Senior Engineer and Distribution Engineer for Northern Powergrid projects, focusing on EHV design, HV substation replacements, and innovative energy solutions. A graduate of The University of Manchester with a Master's degree in Electrical Power Systems Engineering, Mahendra also holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Andhra University and has worked on multiple high-profile projects across their career, demonstrating a strong track record in project management, design compliance, and technical guidance in electrical systems.
