Barry O'Regan

Barry O'Regan serves as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Treasury and Corporate Finance at SSE plc since January 2013, overseeing group funding, bond issuance, project finance, and M&A activities. As Group Finance Director of SSE Renewables from April 2019 to December 2023, Barry was instrumental in consolidating and managing renewable energy assets in the UK and Ireland. Previous roles include Corporate Finance Manager and Senior Corporate Finance Executive at Airtricity/SSE Renewables, where responsibilities included M&A, financial modelling, and project financing. Barry began a career in finance with PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and holds an ACA designation as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies (Accounting) from Technological University Dublin.
