Chris Barwick

Chris Barwick has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Business Energy Systems & Programme Management at SSE plc since May 1998, with previous roles including Head of Business Development & Transformation, Head of Product Delivery, and Lead Project Delivery Manager. Prior to SSE plc, Chris held positions at Southern Electric plc from April 1990 to April 1998, including Senior Key Account Manager and Industrial Sales Engineer. Chris’s expertise encompasses managing key accounts, negotiating energy contracts, and overseeing business development initiatives, with an educational background from the University of West London and earlier schooling at regional institutions.
