Chris P.

Chris P. has extensive work experience in the procurement and operations field. Chris began their career at United Utilities as a Buyer, managing transactional procurement and ensuring compliance. Chris also supported the setup of a procurement department for another utility.

After that, Chris joined DHL Supply Chain as a Project Manager and later became a Business Development Manager. In these roles, they led the development of new business opportunities in the utilities sector and specialized in product development. Chris also coordinated bid responses and proposal development with various internal functions.

Chris then moved to Accenture as a Manager, where they focused on supply chain efficiency in the Utilities sector. Chris was involved in strategic projects within a smart metering program.

Currently, Chris is working at SSE plc. Chris started as the Head of Transformation - Procurement and Logistics, where they successfully delivered SSE's Procurement and Logistics Transformation Programme. Chris developed a target operating model and built a change program with multiple projects.

Most recently, Chris holds the position of Director of Procurement Operations at SSE. Chris leads SSE's Procurement Operations team and Digital Transformation program, coordinating digital transformation across all corporate functions.
