Eddie McLaughlin

Eddie Mclaughlin is a seasoned SHE professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles, primarily at SSE plc since January 2017, where Eddie currently serves as Head of Projects & Contractor SHE Performance. Previous roles include Head of SHE - Enterprise and SHE Manager in various sectors, with successful achievements in building strong internal relationships, mentoring safety teams, and implementing safety management systems. Prior experience includes positions at EDF and Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick, where Eddie contributed to improved HSEQ performance and compliance across multiple projects. Educational qualifications include a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health and credentials from West College Scotland and Cardonald College.
