Gordon Bell

Gordon Bell is an accomplished energy professional with extensive experience in trading and commercial management, currently serving as Managing Director and previously as Commercial Director at SSE plc since June 2009. In various roles, Gordon has overseen front office functions, domestic retail business strategies, and the trading operations for both Great Britain and Ireland. Prior to SSE, Gordon worked as an Energy Trader/Analyst at Constellation Energy and as a Lead Energy Analyst at Scottish Power. Gordon holds a Level 1 CFA in Financial Analysis, an MPhil in Energy Risk and Renewables, and a BEng (1st) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Strathclyde.
