Michael Ricketts currently serves as the Head of Data and Analytics at SSE plc, a position held since June 2012, where responsibilities include the development of data strategies to support the digitalisation of energy infrastructure towards net zero objectives. Michael has led a multi-million-pound data management and analytics program while previously establishing foundational data capabilities within the Distribution business. Prior roles at SSE include Data and Analytics Manager, Data Assurance Project Manager, and Gas Operations Performance Manager. Prior to SSE, Michael was a Director at Clique Music, focusing on artist development in the digital music space, and a snowboard coach at Sierra at Tahoe. Michael's education includes a Business Management degree from Robert Gordon University and completion of various executive education programs, including a Chief Data Officer Summer School at Hult Ashridge.
