Paula MacFarlane

Paula Macfarlane has extensive experience in procurement and human resources, currently serving as the Head of Procurement & Commercial for HR & Professional Services at SSE plc since November 2017. Prior roles at SSE plc include Lead Category Manager and Procurement & Commercial Manager. Previously, Paula held significant positions at Xchanging, Barclays Wealth, Alfred McAlpine, and Byrne & Cliffe Recruitment Ltd, specializing in HR services and resourcing. Paula began a career in HR in 2001, progressing through various roles at companies such as PRIMUS Telecommunications and Core Facility Services, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Glasgow Caledonian University.
