Stefanos Spanopoulos

Stefanos Spanopoulos has extensive experience in asset management, project management, and consultancy within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Asset Management for Electrical Networks at SSE plc since June 2013, Stefanos oversees strategy and implementation for various teams, including Asset Management and System Planning. Previous roles include Networks Manager at Slough Heat and Power, where responsibility encompassed P&L management and delivery of new connection projects, and Senior Consultant positions at both Edif ERA and London Power Associates, focusing on power systems and renewable energy projects. Holding a Master of Science in Finance from Imperial Business School and dual Master's degrees in Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester, Stefanos combines technical expertise with strategic insight to advance energy infrastructure and management.
