Barrie Andrew

Barrie Andrew is an experienced professional in project management and technical due diligence, currently serving as the Director of M&A Technical Due Diligence at SSE Renewables since May 2019, where responsibilities include driving growth through comprehensive technical assessments and investment recommendations. Previously, Barrie held multiple senior roles, including Head of Project Services for Offshore Wind and Head of Enterprise PMO at SSE plc, and was a RUK Shadow Board Member at RenewableUK. With a solid foundation at Thales as Head of Project Controls and prior experience at General Electric and QinetiQ, Barrie has a strong background in project controls, risk management, and business planning. Barrie holds a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Glasgow and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde.
