Bijin Jayakumari CEng MIMarEST is an experienced engineering professional specializing in floating wind technology. Currently serving as Technical Authority for Floating Wind T&I and T&I Package Lead for the Ossian Offshore Wind Farm at SSE Renewables, Bijin has held roles such as Senior Transport & Installation Engineer. Bijin's prior experience includes a significant tenure at Global Maritime, where responsibilities encompassed Project Management and Design Review/Verification in marine warranty projects related to floating wind, subsea export cables, offshore substation installation, subsea construction, and cargo transportation. Bijin began a career at Lamprell as a Naval Architect and holds a Master of Science in Offshore Floating Systems from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Technology in Naval Architecture & Ship Building from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
