David Gallacher

David Gallacher is a skilled engineer currently serving as the Programmes M&E - Lead Engineer (Projects) at SSE Renewables since October 2022, with a focus on civil aspects of wind and hydro generation. Prior to this role, David has been with SSE Generation as a Civil Project Engineer since October 2013, contributing to various renewable initiatives. David's previous experience includes a position at Waterman Group as an Engineer, where involvement in Design & Build projects included preparing tender documents for substations. Additionally, a significant role as a Graduate Engineer at Allen, Gordon & Co, and a secondment with GHD during the Christchurch earthquake recovery highlighted David's ability to address complex engineering challenges under pressure.
