Glenn Carney

Glenn Carney is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Energy Analytics Onshore Team Manager at SSE Renewables since September 2011. In this role, Glenn has notably acted as the lead wind analyst for the Arklow Bank Offshore Wind Farm and various onshore projects in Ireland, previously holding positions such as Energy Analytics Team Lead and wind resource analyst for multiple offshore wind farms, including Galloper and Seagreen. Earlier experience includes a role as a CFD Research Engineer where Glenn contributed to the modeling of offshore wind farms, with research presented at the EWEA 2012. Additional experience includes technical sales support at Solar Shop Australia, focusing on educating customers about renewable energy systems, and technical sales at Grundfos Pumps Ireland, assisting in wastewater system design. Glenn holds several advanced degrees in renewable energy and physics from reputable institutions.
