Ian Russell

Ian Russell is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and asset integration, currently serving as an Asset and Integration Engineer for SSE Renewables since August 2022, focusing on onshore wind projects. Prior to this role, Ian worked at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited from September 2014 to August 2022, where responsibilities included Mechanical Engineer for decommissioning and transitional assets, as well as roles such as Decommissioning Facilities Engineer and Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Earlier experience also includes positions as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer and a Trainee Design Engineer at Pipeline Technique Ltd. Ian Russell holds a Fast-Track Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Robert Gordon University, completed in 2013, and received foundational education at Keith Grammar School from 2004 to 2009.
