Lynsey Duguid

Lynsey Duguid is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors. Since May 2018, Lynsey has been with SSE Renewables as an Offshore WTG Package Engineer and Wind Analyst. Prior roles include engineering positions at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, including tenure as an Engineer, and a postgraduate MSc student at the University of Strathclyde. Lynsey's engineering background also encompasses contract positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Aker Solutions and a Mechanical Design Engineer at FMC Technologies, focusing on subsea equipment. Lynsey is academically proficient, holding a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a PG MSc in Sustainable Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment, alongside recent studies at DTU in Wind Turbine Technology.
