Roland Saldanha

Roland Saldanha is a highly experienced toxicologist currently serving as Focus Area Lead for the Total Exposure Health Initiative at STS Systems Integration, LLC, since September 2016. Prior to this role, Roland held positions as a Research Scientist and Program Manager at UES, Inc., where leadership on multi-million dollar programs focused on genetic and cellular assessments was prominent. Roland's experience includes a tenure as Sr. Director of Research and Development at XBiotech, Inc., and a research associate position at The University of Texas at Austin, with significant contributions in protein purification and characterization. Additionally, Roland's early career involved postdoctoral research at The Ohio State University, advancing bacterial expression systems and intron homing studies. Academic preparation includes a degree from the University of Notre Dame, along with foundational education at St. Xavier's College and St. Xavier's High School in Bombay.
