SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital
Elise Buchheit MSN, RNC-OB is the Director of Critical Care at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital since November 2023, overseeing nursing leadership in critical care services. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Manager and Nursing Manager for Women's Services and The Family Birthplace at SSM Health from January 2018 to November 2023, as well as an Interim Director of Nursing. Prior to these roles, Elise was a Critical Products Manager at The Resource Group, transitioning from direct patient care to supply chain management. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Labor and Delivery RN and clinical faculty for obstetrics at Maryville University. Elise holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
