Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital
Lydia Wood, RN BSN CPEN, currently serves as the Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital since June 2023. As an artist and owner of Lydia Wood Studios, LLC, Lydia has showcased figurative watercolor works and is a member of PoetsArtists. Previously, Lydia worked at St. Louis Children's Hospital from January 2017 to June 2023 as an RN Case Manager in the Heart Center and as a Staff Nurse/Charge Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Room. Additional experience includes community volunteering with CommUNITY Arts STL, nursing in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, and teaching English as a Second Language to refugees and immigrants. Lydia holds a BSN from Goldfinch College of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Southwest Baptist University.
