Ann Cappellari

Ann Cappellari, MD, currently serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer and System Vice President at SSM Health, a role held since March 2014, overseeing EHR adoption, population health solutions, and quality measure implementation across a three-hospital system with over 230 providers. Additionally, Ann holds the position of Chief of Staff at St. Agnes Hospital, where responsibilities have included leading the Emergency Department and participating in several committees related to clinical optimization and performance improvement. Ann's experience includes emergency physician roles at various medical centers and serving as a medical director for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Sudan, where oversight of a 48-bed ward and outpatient clinic was provided as well as training for local healthcare staff. Ann earned an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
