Kate Kinney

Kate Kinney serves as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner and Manager of the Hospitalist Program at Monroe Clinic since January 2003, with prior roles including Intensive Care Unit Supervisor and Cardiology Coordinator. From 1990 to 2005, Kate was a Certified FARMEDIC Trainer at National FARMEDIC, providing essential training to local responders across a tri-state area. Additionally, Kate worked as a Flight Nurse and Medical Director at Air Angels between 2001 and 2003, focusing on critical transport, and held a position as a REACT Flight Nurse at Rockford Health System, where responsibilities included flight transport and nursing education as a preceptor. With a DNP from Chamberlain University, a Master’s Degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from Rockford University, Kate demonstrates a strong commitment to healthcare excellence and education.
