Ed Charnock

Ed Charnock has extensive experience in project management, particularly in the field of Electric and Gas utilities. Ed has worked with multiple companies, including SSP Innovations, LLC, Urbint, GE Digital, Epoch Solutions Group, and Ubisense.

At SSP Innovations, LLC, they currently hold the role of Senior Project Manager, starting in October 2022.

At Urbint, they worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager from September 2021 to September 2022. Ed'sresponsibilities included actively managing 2 large North American based Electric and Gas utility Worker Safety implementation projects, coordinating project schedules, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders.

Prior to Urbint, Ed worked at GE Digital from October 2018 to September 2021 as a Staff Project Manager. Ed managed 3 large Electric and Gas utility accounts, overseeing Geographic Information System (GIS) implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects. Ed was responsible for defining project schedules, budgets, resource needs, and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and resource teams.

Before joining GE Digital, Ed served as the Manager of Professional Services at Epoch Solutions Group from February 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they directly managed all active projects, ensuring they were completed on time and within budget. Ed was also responsible for proposal preparation, budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining client relationships.

Ed's earlier experience at Ubisense from April 2007 to September 2016 involved managing 6 large Electric and Gas utility accounts. Ed oversaw the implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) projects and Electronic Leak Survey and Facility Inspection implementations for Gas Utilities. Additionally, they played a role in sales lead generation and revenue generation through new sales and project extensions.

At GE Digital, Ed worked as a Principal Consultant from June 2002 to April 2007. Ed contributed significantly to the development of the GE Smallworld Office product suite and served as a Technical Lead on large-scale GE Smallworld GIS implementations and upgrades.

With a proven track record in project management within the Electric and Gas utility industry, Ed Charnock brings a wealth of experience to their current role as Senior Project Manager at SSP Innovations, LLC.

Ed Charnock earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from The University of Akron, where they attended from 1991 to 1995.
