Ella Haines

Ella Haines has a solid background in software development and GIS analysis. Ella is currently working at SSP Innovations, LLC as a Senior Software Developer. Prior to this, they worked at HDR INC for seven years in the role of Senior Software Developer, where they specialized in full-stack web and GIS development. Ella also has experience as a GIS Analyst/Programmer at the University of New Mexico, where they worked on Python scripting, website maintenance, and disaster risk analysis. Additionally, they have worked as a Distribution Systems Analyst at TRC Solutions, an Executive Assistant at the Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, a GIS Technician at CALIBRE Systems, a Geospatial Analyst at MDA Information Systems, Inc., a Field Canvasser at Clean Water Action, a Scientist I at PBS&J, and an IDR Library Support Technician at Michael Baker Jr. Ella has a diverse range of skills and experience in the field of software development and GIS analysis.

Ella Haines attended Virginia Tech from 2002 to 2008, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning and Policy. In 2015, they also attended Deep Dive Coding Bootcamp for a short duration, but did not receive a degree. Ella'sfield of study during the bootcamp was web development.
