Terry Iffland

Terry Iffland has a diverse work experience in the field of GIS (Geographic Information System) and project management. Terry currently holds the position of Sales Support Solution Architect Team Lead at SSP Innovations, LLC since November 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Solution Architect at the same company from April 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining SSP Innovations, Terry worked at NiSource for a significant period. Terry started their career as a Project Specialist in January 2013 and was responsible for introducing ArcGIS Field Maps, leading to an annual cost avoidance of $75,000 within three months of implementation. In addition, they served as the Leader for GIS and Damage Prevention Support from January 2011 to December 2012, where they managed teams responsible for job order execution, job order posting, and damage prevention screening.

Terry also held the position of Leader for Mapping & Records, Capital Close Out at NiSource where they managed a large team and implemented improved business processes to reduce work backlogs, improve construction processes, and eliminate old job order backlog. Terry was involved in project management, scheduling, and implementation of the Gas Distribution Operations GIS.

Terry Iffland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Defiance College. Prior to attending college, Terry completed high school at Genoa Area High School. In addition to their formal education, Terry has obtained several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2001, GIS Certification from Penn State University in May 1999, and a Notary Public Commission from the State of Ohio in July 2005.
