Alex Hunchak

Alex Hunchak has extensive experience in investor relations and capital markets, currently serving as Vice President of Investor Relations & Capital Markets at SSR Mining Inc. since June 2021. Previously, Alex held various roles at SSR Mining Inc., including Vice President of Investor Relations and Director of Corporate Development & Investor Relations. Earlier experience includes a position as Director of Institutional Equity Research in Mining at CIBC Capital Markets and roles at CIBC and Cormark Securities in equity research. Alex began a career in geology as a Field Geologist at De Beers Canada Inc. and as a Geologist in Training at Peregrine Diamonds Limited. Educationally, Alex holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Science from The University of British Columbia.
