Erica Smith

Erica Smith currently serves as Vice President Legal, Securities & Corporate Governance and Assistant Corporate Secretary at SSR Mining Inc., a role commenced in October 2021, providing expertise in securities compliance and corporate governance for a dual-listed public company. Prior experience includes a Counsel position at Perkins Coie LLP, advising on private equity and venture capital fund launches, and associate roles at Jenner & Block LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP, focusing on private investment fund formation. Earlier experience features a position at JONES DAY®, where private equity transactions were the primary focus, as well as internships with the United Steelworkers and U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer. Erica holds a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and both an MA and BA in East Asian Studies from Yale University.
