Joanne Thomopoulos

Joanne Thomopoulos is an experienced human resources executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at SSR Mining Inc. Since February 2023, Joanne has built a robust career in HR leadership, previously holding the position of Chief People Officer at Trevali Mining Corporation from October 2018 to November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources at BC Hydro and in various HR roles at BCLC, including Senior HR Manager and Human Resources Advisor. Joanne's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Strategic HR Management from Royal Roads University, a Management Certificate from the Open Learning Agency, and a Diploma in Criminal Justice from Camosun College.
