Russ Farnsworth

Russ Farnsworth has extensive work experience in the accounting field. Russ is currently serving as the VP Accounting & Controller at SSR Mining Inc. Starting from 2014, Russ worked at Newmont Corporation in various roles such as Director of Operations Accounting, Regional Controller for Africa, and Manager of Accounting Research. Before that, they were the Financial Reporting Manager at Prospect Global Resources in 2013. Russ began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Staff & Senior Auditor and later became a Manager in Assurance Services. Russ'searliest work experience was as a Staff Accountant at WJS and Associates from 2004 to 2007.

Russ Farnsworth obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University in the years 2003 to 2007. Russ then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management from Regis University from the years 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Russ has certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Colorado (active) and Montana (inactive).
