Steven A. Horowitz, Esq. is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in taxation and estate planning. Currently a Partner at Horowitz and Rubenstein, LLC since February 2015, Steven specializes in tax planning for closely held businesses, estate planning, and representation before the Internal Revenue Service, including cases before the United States Tax Court. Steven also serves as Of Counsel at Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas LLP and previously held roles as Tax Attorney at Moritt Hock Hamroff LLP, where Steven led the Tax, Trust & Estates Practice, and Partner at multiple firms, including Horowitz Klosowski & Scope and Horowitz & Goldman. Steven’s career began at Deloitte, progressing through roles including Tax Director at Symbol Technologies. Steven holds a J.D. in Tax Law from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and an MBA in Public Accounting, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hofstra University.
