Adam Cogan

Adam Cogan has extensive work experience in the field of software development and technology. Adam started their career at SSW in 1990 as a Chief Architect, where they designed custom software solutions using .NET APIs with front ends in Angular, React, or Blazor. These solutions often involved integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365 powered by Azure.

In 2000, Adam joined Microsoft as a Microsoft Regional Director and later became part of the Microsoft MVP Program in 2002. Adam also served as an Interviewer for tv.ssw.com and was the President of the .NET User Group in Sydney and Canberra.

Adam has been involved in the tech community through various roles such as being a member of the NDC Agenda Committee since 2006 and a Professional Scrum Developer Trainer for Scrum.org since 2009.

Outside of their professional accomplishments, Adam was recognized as a Lifetime Iceberg at BONDI ICEBERGS CLUB for their dedication to winter swimming and served as an Evening Lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney. Adam also worked as a Lead Mentor at FireBootCamp.com, providing training in full-stack .NET, Angular, and Azure.

Adam Cogan completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting at the University of Technology Sydney from 1988 to 1992. Before that, they attended Killarney Heights, NSW from 1983 to 1987 for an unspecified degree. Their earlier education was at Muswellbrook School from 1975 to 1982.
